How much does Ibexia take?
Creators keep 80% of every guide sale. Ibexia takes a 20% platform fee to support the marketplace, checkout, guide delivery, and platform growth.
Are there any listing fees?
No. There are no listing fees and no monthly seller fees. You only pay when you make a sale.
When do I actually pay anything?
You only pay when you earn. Ibexia's 20% is deducted from each sale automatically — there's nothing to pay upfront or on a recurring basis.
Are there payment processing fees?
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Stripe/payment processing fees may apply depending on the transaction and card type.
How do I get paid?
Sellers connect a Stripe account during onboarding. Once set up, payouts arrive in your bank via Stripe Connect on Stripe's standard payout schedule — usually 2–7 days.
What can I sell?
Any digital travel knowledge: PDF itineraries, budget breakdowns, neighbourhood maps, food guides, road trip routes, hiking guides, photography spots, packing lists, or any practical travel resource.
Do I need a big following?
No. We care more about quality guides than follower count. Tell us about your travel experience and what makes your knowledge genuinely useful for someone planning a trip.
Can I sell guides I already sell elsewhere?
Yes, unless your own agreements elsewhere prevent it. Ibexia does not require exclusivity. Your knowledge, your terms.
Can I set my own prices?
Yes. You set your price. Most guides on Ibexia range from £5 to £30. We suggest pricing based on depth, destination, and how much time it saves a traveller.
How are refunds handled?
Digital guides are generally non-refundable once downloaded, unless there's a platform or delivery issue. This is clearly shown to buyers at checkout. See our full terms for details.
How do I connect Stripe?
From your seller dashboard, click 'Connect Stripe'. This opens Stripe Express onboarding — it takes about 2 minutes and you'll need basic ID verification.
What if my application is rejected?
We'll email you with feedback. You're welcome to reapply later. We reject very few applications, mainly those without enough travel detail or a clear guide concept.
